As part of the behaviour programme a range of strategies are used with students having difficulty meeting behaviour expectations. For a student who fails to respond to correction, parents will be contacted and extra strategies and/or referral will be considered.
Recently, most of our staff have undergone professional development in restorative practice, with seven staff trained as full facilitators.  Restorative practices are now being used in many situations where a student's behaviour has violated the rights of others.
